Track Website Rankings and Stats Easier With Moniitor

Published on 9/4/2012 by

Any webmaster intent on improving his search engine optimization (SEO) and website rankings knows that website monitoring tools are a must.  Getting up-to-the-minute stats from FeedBurner, Google Analytics, Compete and other places helps webmasters see their exact reach online and where trouble areas lay.  The trouble is that running from FeedBurner to Compete to Quantcast takes time—valuable time that you could be investing in improving your website instead of tracking stats across the Internet from multiple locations.  Enter in Moniitor.

What is Moniitor?

Moniitor is a new web based website rankings powerhouse program that will retrieve your current rankings, ratings and stats and display them all in one convenient location.  Still operating in beta mode, Moniitor is making its mark online for it’s much talked about easy setup and implementation.

Getting started with Moniitor

Moniitor setup is taken care of in five simple steps.

Website monitoring

  1. Site Name:  This is for your reference only.
  2. Site URL:  Enter the full address of your website.
  3. Twitter ID:  Enter the ID you use on the Twitter account associated with this domain name.
  4. FeedBurner ID:  Add your FeedBurner ID.
  5. Key:  Create a text file named after your key.  In this instance, my text file would be Kqd5OLWc9o.txt.   Upload that file to the main directory of your website for authentication.

That’s it!  Once you’ve completed these steps successfully, you’ll be greeted with a message of congratulations and you can begin monitoring your domain name and social networking statistics.

What Moniitor can do

Moniitor does exactly what its name implies—it monitors your brand online.  With Moniitor you’ll be able to add as many sites as you like and quickly view your online and social network rankings with all of the following:

  • Compete
  • FeedBurner
  • Twitter
  • Google PageRank
  • Alexa
  • Quantcast
  • Yahoo inbound links

Moniitor updates in real time so, if your name is mentioned on Twitter, you’ll see those results displayed through your Moniitor dashboard, as well as any changes in statistics or rankings.

If you need a quick, free website analysis tool that will pull all of your results across the Internet and display them in one location, Moniitor shows real promise!
