The $.98 domain from Namecheap.com
Namecheap.com is a California-based ICANN-accredited domain register and web hosting company that manages just over 3 million domain names. The 12 year old company is known for their low prices, and also for interacting with customers on social media websites.
This week, Namecheap announced a new Twitter campaign. From now until July 16th, Twitter users can vie for their chance to claim a 98 cent domain name from Namecheap.com. If 30,000 retweets happen by July 16th, Namecheap promises to have a 24 hour sale during which Twitter retweeters can claim a .com, .net or .org domain name for only $.98.
You can participate in Namecheap’s Twitter campaign by following these rules:
Retweet this message: Retweet to enable Namecheap $0.98 com/net/org registration or transfer! @namecheap #ncsale. Details: http://bit.ly/retweetdeal
That’s it! Twitter users may retweet the message once every six hours. Each domain that qualifies for the special 98 cent price will come with free WhoisGuard and free personal email for one year.
