EPHost.com is a San Diego-based web hosting and website design company that's been around since 1996. EPhosting offers shared web hosting, Enterprise Email, managed and unmanaged dedicated servers, cloud hosting, social media marketing and web design services.

Review

Sales
Sales questions can be asked by toll free telephone number and through an online ticket system. The sales reps were exceptionally well-versed, holding an almost advanced tech level of knowledge. My questions were answered completely and easily, and by intelligent, courteous sales agents. Impressive!

Setup
I ordered a shared hosting package from EPhost. An invoice arrived by email a short time after I made payment, and I had a welcome letter with all my new account details about fifteen minutes later.

Billing
EPhost takes all major credit cards. My bill was always accurate and I found it easy to cancel my account.

Reliability

My EPhost hardware functioned at 100% reliability over a one year period.

Help & Support
Support is available by telephone and ticket system. Most tickets are responded to in under an hour, and there’s only a brief wait for telephone support. The support team is not only well-equipped to fix problems, but also does a good job of making recommendations to enhance your web hosting experience.

My uptime monitor showed that EPhost held a 99.997% uptime rating.

Pricing
I ordered the EP Starter Plan, EPhost's smallest shared web hosting plan. This included one hosted site, 10 gigabytes of space, 300 gigabytes of bandwidth, 1 MySQL database and 20 email accounts for $9.95/month. The space and bandwidth are a steal, but plans come with a $10 setup fee and only allow for one database.
