Reliability

During a one year stay with eUKHost I had only one instance of hardware trouble and that was with a failed hard drive during my first month. The hard drive was replaced immediately and my website was back online in less than three hours. Hard drive failures can and do happen, so I took no issue with this. However, eUKHost did not notify me of the problem directly. Instead, I had to go to the user forums or submit a trouble ticket to find out when I could expect to be back online. A more pro-active approach would be appreciated.

Support issues are addressed by trouble ticket system, live chat, telephone and user forums. Technical support is hit or miss. In many instances, live chat and telephone support was able to answer my questions and send me on my way in less than five minutes. Trouble tickets, on the other hand, took anywhere from four hours to two days to be handled properly. Needs to be more consistent!
