Sales
Sales support from Sherweb comes by online form, toll-free telephone and live chat. I used live chat. Within seconds of making a live chat account I was met by a sales representative who not only answered my questions, but did so quickly and with ease. Wonderful!

Setup
Sherweb’s setup is a bit different than most hosts. First, you enter your email address and are then told than an invoice is being mailed to you. Meanwhile, you still have to fill out a new client and hosting application and are led to a payment screen. The process is a tad confusing. Do you wait for the email invoice or go ahead and pay on Sherweb? Nonetheless, ignoring the email invoice, I managed to sign-up entirely online using their website form and had my account up and running within minutes. One nice thing about Sherweb’s sign up procedure is that they let you know during the sign-up process what your new nameservers will be so that you can change them immediately with your domain registrar. This is a cool little time saver for those people who, like me, prefer to get a jumpstart on things.

Billing
Sherweb accepts payment by credit card. I had no billing problems to report. It should be noted that plans automatically renew and it is the client’s responsibility to cancel their plan 30 days before contract end.
Pricing
Sherweb has many plans and services in all price ranges to choose from. Their smallest Windows and Linux hosting plan is called Starter Hosting and costs $7.25/month (when paying by the year) for 1 gigabyte of space and unlimited bandwidth. Sherweb is reasonably priced, for sure.

Reliability

I had no hardware problems to report during a one year stay with Sherweb.

Help & Support
Sherweb support comes by telephone, live chat and a help desk form from their website. Phone support is slowest, often taking ten minutes or more to reach an operator. Live chat was superb, and had quick connection times. In all instances of contacting support, I was met by a helpful, friendly, willing-to-go-out-on-a-limb rep. Thumbs up!
